About Us

Penkridge Arboriculture was established in 2000 by Robert Keay, covering the West Midlands and Staffordshire areas. We have extensive experience in all aspects of arboriculture and take pride in our work.

We are able to deal with all types of tree work. This includes tree pruning, tree removal, planting, hedge trimming and tree condition reports. Contact us to discuss your particular requirements. We can then provide a written quotation.

On calling Penkridge Arboriculture we will come and visit your property and give you a written quotation. We give advice on the best way to carry out your required work. We can help with protected trees (TPO and Conservation Areas).

If you accept our quotation we will agree a date that suits you. This date can also reflect the correct seasonal time to carry out your work so that the affected trees/shrubs will thrive.

On the day of the operation our team will arrive at your property and before commencing work they will perform a risk assessment, ensuring that all work is carried out is to the highest safety standards. We will be happy to explain in detail any aspect of the work we undertake before or even during the operation in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Penkridge Arboriculture have a wealth of experience working on construction sites and work with many developers, builders, commercial properties and letting agencies.

We can undertake pre-construction removal of trees and hedges of any size and provide vital work to any trees needing to be retained ensuring the site ready for development.

Penkridge Arboriculture has worked on many busy sites including sites with occupants. We have on many occasions worked in extremely confined areas.

We are experienced with all aspects of commercial tree work. All staff have CSCS certificates and are DBS checked. We have experience managing trees located on school and NHS properties.

We have a rigorous Health and Safety policy and are committed to adhering to it to ensure that all work is carried out in the safest way at all times.

Penkridge Arboriculture has the appropriate skills, equipment and a comprehensive understanding of the British Standards regarding trees and their maintenance; BS 3998:2010. All of our site based staff hold CSCS, DBS, IPAF, NPTC certification for chainsaws, chipping and aerial rescue and have certification to use cherry pickers.

We deliver continuous professional development ensuing all employees remain up to date with health & safety and evolving best practice.

Trusted Service

We are dedicated in working to British Standard BS3998:2010. These standards provide guidance on how to carry out tree work safely and effectively.

We deal with both domestic and commercial work and are insured and certified. We hold current SMAS accreditation.
